38)Confirmation

So I got confirmation that I'll be deployed to Iraq. I will be in Fort Hood on June 11th preparing for deployment. Most likely I'll be in Baghdad. I haven't told my parents that their baby, their pride and joy, their apple of their eye, their cherished will be defending the country that they so much love. I will be helping fight for the freedoms that they enjoy everyday.

I don't know how to comfort myself. I don't know how to prepare myself. I don't know anything. So tonight I will drown my sorrows in a bottle of wine and watch a funny movie with one of my best friends. There's nothing for me to do except enjoy the times I have left with family and friends!
