23)The End of a Love Story

The final chapter of my "love doesn't conquer all" story has been written. I got a phone call from Daniel last night. He really dropped a bomb on me. He apparently cheated on me and this affair resulted in a child.

I'm asssuming that "Rebecca Lea" is the mother of this child and Daniel's current girlfriend. In reply to the comment she left me: I'm not a homewrecker. I'm just the victim. I don't know if Daniel told you he and I were still together when he had this affair with you. But I have wished Daniel luck in all of his future endeavors. He is now just a distant memory to me. Since the day we broke up, the idea of us getting back together has never crossed my mind.

He is the one who would constantly call me in hopes of rekindling the fire we once had. So good luck to the both of you. Life goes on and we shouldn't dwell on this.
